Broadway star Hugh Jackman, 57, reminisced on the time he teamed up with legendary singer-songwriter Neil Diamond, 84, for a sweet karaoke rendition of Elvis Presley’s iconic 1961 hit “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” and fans are still loving the beautiful duet!

“Yep, karaoke with this legend,” wrote Jackman, who stars as half of Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder in the 2025 American biographical musical drama Song Sung Blue.

“Never, ever in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen,” he gushed, including the hashtag “#dreamhuge.” He originally shared the video in October 2025 on Facebook, but got fans excited all over again when he reshared it on Instagram on Jan. 10, 2026.

The video shows Diamond and Jackman leaning against one another on a couch, singing the end of the infamous ballad while holding hands and laughing. Diamond even gives a beaming Jackman a kiss on the forehead as the song finishes, while friends in the room cheer.

Fans loved seeing the A-list duo perform together and rushed to the comments to share their praise. “Truly a sweet moment of you and Neil,” said one, while another added, “Love this so much!! Didn’t think I could love you even more!! A third wrote, “How divine. So grateful for Neil Diamond,” and another said, “It’s so sweet. There’s so much love and appreciation [heart emoji href=”https://parade.com/living/emoji-meanings”] You can see it.”

Diamond and Jackman have seemingly formed a special bond throughout working on the film. In October, Diamond called visiting with Jackman “truly special” and his performance in the film “absolutely incredible.”

The musician also shared a touching gift with Jackman: a signed acoustic guitar. Jackman looked emotional in a video opening the present, writing, “One of the most awesome gifts I have ever received. And I will cherish it forever. Thank you, Neil Diamond.”
