Featuring the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Chris Robinson, Cyndi Lauper, Bryan Adams, Teddy Swims, and Nathaniel Rateliff, the performance was unbelievably powerful and emotional, channeling the potent energy Cocker himself frequently exhibited when he performed onstage. Couple this with the song’s tear-jerking lyrics, and the result was possibly the best – and undoubtedly the most memorable – performance of the night.
