There was a tiny, skinny dog walking from street to street, looking for something to eat. His fur was messy and dirty, and his eyes looked empty and sad. We might not be able to save every animal, but we can all do something to help. Maybe you can share some food with a stray dog or cat near your house. Or give them a bowl of clean water. If you see someone being mean to an animal, tell an adult or call for help. Even speaking up can make a difference for animals who can’t talk for themselves.
