Shirtless Yungblud returns to the stage after sparking concern with his bizarre appearance with Aerosmith at the MTV Video Music Awards

Yungblud made his return to the stage at The Fillmore in Michigan – just days after sparking concern with his bizarre antics alongside Aerosmith at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The rocker, 28, whose real name Dominic Richard Harrison, caused a stir at Sunday’s star-studded ceremony when he flashed his armpits and pulled faces while joining Steven Tyler and Joe Perry on stage.
Later backstage at the UBS Arena, he continued to raise eyebrows as he posed for unusual snaps with the legendary band.
But back in his own spotlight on Wednesday, Yungblud appeared back to his usual self as he ignited the crowd with an electric performance of his biggest hits.
He arrived in a leather co-ord before stripping shirtless and wowing his fans with his trademark wild energy.
It comes after many MTV VMAs viewers took to social media to express concern about the rising musician.

At Sunday’s award ceremony, Yungblud bared his tattooed chest and an array of gold chains, as he lifted his arms in the air as he dragged his hands through his hair.
He sported a variety of bizarre facial expressions in the pictures as he appeared to be making a roaring noise.
Yungblud showed off his abs by ditching his jacket and performing some bizarre poses for the cameras.
He walked with attitude on the red carpet before turning to the cameras with both arms outstretched as he shot sultry looks toward the photographers.
Taking to X, users penned: ‘A literal mess…,’; ‘He’s obsessed with looking a damn mess,’; ‘It’s giving temu spike from buffy the vampire slayer.’
Other fans had the opposite feeling as they praised the Abyss hitmaker for his bold entrance.
‘That styling choice is so perfectly on brand for him. When someone stays true to their aesthetic even on the biggest stages, it creates such powerful moments,’;
‘It’s my first time coming across this person, but he’s absolutely a star. This oozes early 90’s death, metal, grunge, rock in Seattle full fledged drugs & rock and roll teas with a dash of Ozzy. He’s taking it.’

Yungblud – who was performing an Ozzy Osbourne tribute at the event – donned a pair of black leather pants with matching boots as he accessorised with gunmetal coloured accessories including a belt buckle, bracelets, and necklaces.
His locks were combed back while a few strands strategically hung down to frame his face as he wore dramatic make-up including heavy eyeliner.
The Lovesick Lullaby hitmaker donned a black leather Sherpa jacket which he threw on the red carpet before putting on his shirtless display.
Yungblud had a very strong relationship with Ozzy after meeting him in 2022, and it appeared that their relationship grew into an almost father-son type bond.
Ozzy tragically passed away aged 76 on July 22, and Yungblud reportedly gave a moving reading at his funeral.

The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards kicked off in fantastic form as Lady Gaga took home the first Moon Person of the night.
The 39-year-old performer earned the major win as she upset megastar Taylor Swift in the coveted Artist of the Year category at the star-studded award show on Sunday night.
In addition to Taylor, she triumphed over a very impressive list of music’s biggest stars including: Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Morgan Wallen, and The Weeknd.
Gaga already has 18 VMA wins under her belt and her fans are anticipating her to add even more accolades this year.
This year also marks the third time that Gaga led MTV’s list of VMA nominees.
She previously topped the list with 13 nods in 2010 and again in 2020 tying for first with nine total nominations.
