Nicole Kidman is reportedly stepping into what friends are calling her “revenge romance era”, and this time, she’s revisiting an old love. More than two decades after her engagement to musician Lenny Kravitz, the Oscar-winning actress is said to be rekindling her connection with the rock legend as she moves forward from her recent split with country superstar Keith Urban.

The “Holland” actor, 58, stunned fans last month when she filed for divorce from Urban, 57, ending their nearly 20-year marriage. Sources close to Kidman revealed that while the separation has been emotionally challenging, she has shifted her focus toward rediscovering herself and reclaiming her independence.

“After everything she’s been through with Keith, we’ve all encouraged her to just enjoy life again,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “She deserves to be cherished – and honestly, no one ever made her feel as loved as Lenny did.”

Kidman and Kravitz, 61, first began dating in 2003 after the actress rented his Manhattan apartment. “Nicole and Lenny go way back,” a friend of the actress shared. “What they had was real love, and that connection between them has never really faded. People who know them both say the spark is still there.”

Back then, however, timing proved to be their biggest obstacle. Kidman, fresh off her divorce from Tom Cruise, was seeking stability and a family.

“They were at very different stages of life,” a former associate of Kravitz explained. “Lenny was deep in his rock’n’roll lifestyle back then – always on the road, making music, and caught up in the scene. Nicole, on the other hand, was looking for stability and a family. They were simply at different points in their lives.”

Now, insiders believe the stars are finally aligned. “Lenny’s been open about wanting to find his soulmate – maybe this is the right moment for them to make it work,” said a source close to the musician. “Nicole’s in such a strong place these days,” an insider said. “Now she just wants to embrace life with passion again – and Lenny embodies that energy.”

HE DIDN’T ASK FOR ONE LAST ENCORE. HE ASKED FOR HIS SIX-STRING. In the final, quiet months of his life, the man who roared America’s proudest anthems didn’t ask for a final bow or the roar of a stadium. Toby Keith had just one heartbreakingly simple wish. He whispered to his family, “When I go… let me hold my guitar.” That weathered instrument wasn’t just wood and wire; it was his battle axe. It had traveled with him from dusty Oklahoma dive bars to the world’s biggest arenas, soaking up every drop of sweat and every story he ever told. When the moment came, his family honored him. They placed that old guitar gently in his resting hands, alongside a handwritten note of the song that defined a generation and a photo of him smiling under the stage lights. He left this world exactly as he lived in it—holding the music that made him who he was. He didn’t just sing for America; he was the heartbeat of it.
