See Bruce Springsteen, Noah Kahan Play at Sea.Hear.Now Afterparty

The collaboration between Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp is far from new. Back in December 2019, the two legends shared the stage during Sting’s biannual Rainforest Benefit, delivering memorable performances of “Pink Houses” and “Glory Days.” Their musical partnership continued in 2022, when Springsteen lent his voice to Mellencamp’s album Strictly a One-Eyed Jack.

Speaking to Billboard in early 2022, Mellencamp praised Springsteen’s rare blend of confidence and humility. “Bruce has this incredible mix of persistence and modesty,” he said. “He knows how to express his ideas clearly without overpowering anyone. He’s been leading his band longer than I have mine. I don’t need to guide him — he comes in with suggestions like, ‘What if I try this?’ And my response is always, ‘You’re Bruce Springsteen — go for it.’”

Both artists have packed calendars this year. Springsteen is set to relaunch his global tour on March 19 in Phoenix, Arizona, with performances lined up across North America and Europe.

Meanwhile, Mellencamp continues his solo tour into late July, after which he’s scheduled to hit the road with Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan for the 2024 edition of the Outlaw Festival.

In a night unlike any other, The Voice turned its stage into a cathedral of rock as contestants across global editions united to honor the one and only Ace Frehley — the cosmic guitarist whose riffs once set the universe on fire. One by one, they stepped into the spotlight — guitars blazing, voices trembling — to deliver raw, soul-drenched renditions of KISS anthems like “Shock Me,” “Cold Gin,” and “New York Groove.” The stage lights shimmered in Frehley’s signature silver and blue, while a massive projection of his Space Ace persona lit up behind them, as if watching from the stars. The performances built to a fever pitch when all contestants joined for an electrifying, tear-soaked finale — “Rock and Roll All Nite.” The crowd roared, the coaches stood in silence, and for a few unforgettable minutes, it felt like Ace was back — playing through every note, every heart.

“AT 79, HE CAME BACK AFTER 8 YEARS — BUT NOT FOR FAME.” Peter Criss walked onto a New York stage again, not for a reunion or headlines, but for his brother, Ace Frehley. No makeup. No spectacle. Just a green drum kit, fragile songs like Beth, and memories that felt heavier than noise. When old 1977 footage lit up behind him and Rock and Roll All Nite returned, it didn’t feel like a comeback — it felt like a promise kept. And when Peter looked up and said, “You’re still out there, brother,” the night felt less like a concert… and more like a goodbye that wasn’t finished.
