Beaker’s dramatic transformation began when Rochelle Steffen, the founder of Mac’s Mission, stumbled upon his photo on Facebook. Shocked by his condition, Rochelle knew she had to act fast.
With her dedicated team of volunteers at the Rebel Dogs Detroit, Beaker received the lifesaving treatment he desperately needed. Medicine was administered to kill the relentless Demodex mites, and he was bathed in soothing treatments to help his battered skin heal.
Every step of the way, the caring team showered him with love and kindness, ensuring that his suffering would soon be a thing of the past.
