This morning brought a sight I won’t soon forget: a dog, weary and wounded, stumbling through the streets with a large arrow lodged in his back.
His fur was tangled and filthy, and his slow, painful movements spoke volumes about the suffering he had endured.
I followed him as he made his way to a nearby dumpsite, searching through trash for anything to eat.
Watching him—frail, filthy, and clearly starving—was devastating.
Approaching slowly, I offered him some food. He ate it in seconds, not even stopping to remove the peel.

That moment of trust was enough for me to act. I scooped him up and rushed him to the nearest veterinary hospital.
There, the full extent of his condition became clear. Nurses gently cleaned his fur and treated the infected wounds that had been ignored for too long.
The arrow, deeply embedded and likely there for days, would need to be removed through emergency surgery—a risky but necessary step if he was to survive.

Now, he’s in the hands of a skilled medical team. While his recovery is uncertain, we’re holding onto hope that he’ll pull through.
Every update from the hospital matters, and every small sign of progress gives us more reason to believe this brave dog has a future.

To those following his story, thank you for caring. His journey is far from over, but he’s no longer alone.
Stay tuned for updates, and please remember the many animals out there still waiting for someone to notice them.
