Brian Johnson and angus young

After more than 14 years away from American television, AC/DC stormed back into the spotlight with a thunderous bang at the Grammy Awards. Like battle-hardened legends returning to reclaim their throne, Angus Young and the band lit up the Staples Center with an explosive performance that reminded the world exactly why they’re rock royalty.

Opening with “Rock or Bust,” the title track from their 2014 album, AC/DC wasted no time setting the tone. It was more than a song—it was a battle cry. With pounding riffs and unwavering swagger, they declared rock was alive, defiant, and louder than ever. Then, without pause, they launched into the iconic “Highway to Hell,” sending the crowd into a wild, horn-flashing frenzy. Thousands of fans donned glowing red devil horns in tribute to Angus’s signature look, turning the arena into a sea of fire and noise.

The performance also marked a significant return: drummer Chris Slade was back behind the kit for the first time since 1994, stepping in for Phil Rudd, who was embroiled in legal troubles in New Zealand. Slade, a familiar force from AC/DC’s early ’90s era, brought renewed intensity to the stage, helping power a performance that felt both nostalgic and freshly charged.

That night wasn’t just a comeback—it was a statement. AC/DC didn’t just play the Grammys; they owned it. The moment has since become legendary, racking up hundreds of millions of views online and earning a permanent place in the annals of rock history. More than a return to form, it was a defiant roar from a band that refuses to fade, proving once again that when AC/DC shows up, the world listens—and rocks.

DOLLY PARTON SCREAMED INTO THE MIC TO CUT THE MUSIC THE MOMENT SHE SAW SECURITY DRAGGING A BOY AWAY. During a sold-out performance, everything was going perfectly until Dolly spotted a commotion in the front row. A scruffy little boy, clutching a bouquet of wilted wildflowers, was being blocked by security for not having a ticket. Instead of continuing to sing, Dolly marched straight to the edge of the stage and signaled the band to silence. She bent down, not caring that her expensive, sparkling gown was sweeping across the dusty floor, and reached out to pull the boy up. The entire arena held its breath. It turned out, the boy had walked 10 miles just to give her something his mother had left behind before she passed away… What the boy said next made Dolly break down in tears right on live television…

Last night, “Real Love” stopped being just a song. When Paul and Ringo welcomed John and George’s sons onto the same stage, the arena went silent — not out of shock, but understanding. No speeches. No spectacle. Just music carrying memory forward. For a few fragile minutes, the past felt present again. And everyone in the room knew they were witnessing something that would never happen the same way twice. Some moments aren’t concerts. They’re history breathing.

“One riff, one raw scream — and the Grammys felt like they stopped for a few seconds.” Post Malone took the lead, Slash tore through the guitars like he was summoning rock’s spirit back to the stage during the 2026 In Memoriam. Behind them, images of Ozzy Osbourne flickered across the screen — while Sharon, Kelly and Jack struggled to hold back tears in the crowd. No long speeches, no extra gloss — just sound doing the goodbye. Earlier, Yungblud had already named Ozzy as the man who shaped his identity and his music. For a moment, the Grammys turned into a farewell — loud, heartbreakingly real, and impossible to forget.
