At 83, Paul McCartney has absolutely nothing to prove—but that’s not stopping him from hitting the road again. The Beatles legend just announced a 19-date U.S. leg of his Got Back tour, kicking off September 29 in Palm Desert, California. From arenas to a few stadiums, the tour will bring McCartney to cities like Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Chicago, and Atlanta. Fans can grab tickets through his website starting July 15 at 10 a.m. local time.

This tour builds on the Got Back run that began in 2022, which included 16 U.S. shows before moving across Australia, South America, and Europe. McCartney wrapped up that global stretch in London last December, proving once again that age is no match for his energy on stage.

Songs That Shaped Generations

A Paul McCartney concert is more than just a rock show—it’s a trip through 60 years of music history. From Beatles classics like “Hey Jude” and “Let It Be” to Wings hits like “Live and Let Die” and solo gems like “Maybe I’m Amazed,” McCartney’s setlists are packed with favorites. As one article put it, “Hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music.”

In February, McCartney surprised fans with a pop-up performance at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. Just 500 lucky fans witnessed a 100-minute show that included everything from “A Hard Day’s Night” to the 2023 Beatles release “Now and Then.” His onstage vibe? Playful, upbeat, and all heart. “His affection for fans [is] apparent as he bops his head and grins through songs performed thousands of times.”

Legendary Venues and Lifelong Bandmates

McCartney’s live shows aren’t just about the music—they’re a full-on experience. Whether he’s rocking Moscow’s Red Square or playing to 400,000 fans in Mexico, his concerts are unforgettable. From Buckingham Palace and the White House to the Coliseum in Rome and even a live broadcast into space, McCartney has performed just about everywhere.

His longtime band—Paul “Wix” Wickens, Brian Ray, Rusty Anderson, and Abe Laboriel Jr.—joins him again, backed by state-of-the-art sound and visuals that make every seat feel like the best in the house.

Wings Take Flight in New Book

And if that’s not enough McCartney magic, fans can also look forward to his new book, WINGS: The Story of a Band on the Run, coming out November 4. Edited by historian Ted Widmer and packed with over 150 never-before-seen photos and personal diary entries, the book captures the journey of Wings from scrappy beginnings to global success.

“Suddenly Wings has found its moment,” McCartney writes in the foreword. “We have a generational shift at work, and it’s like being transported back on a magic carpet.”

It’s a deep dive into the band’s story—from No. 1 hits like “Band on the Run” to Oscar-nominated tracks and globe-spanning adventures. As with the tour, McCartney’s legacy continues to unfold—alive, evolving, and still rocking.

“HIS OWN CHILDREN MADE ANDREA BOCELLI CRY IN FRONT OF THOUSANDS — WITH JUST ONE SONG.” The lights went soft. Matteo and young Virginia walked forward — not like performers, but like two kids about to say something they’d been holding inside for years. They started singing “Always on My Mind.” Their hands were shaking. Halfway through, Andrea couldn’t take it anymore. He slowly covered his face. Tears fell. The entire room went completely still. Then Matteo’s voice broke the silence: “This one is for you, Dad… for everything you’ve given us.” No legend stood there in that moment. Just a father hearing his whole life reflected back through his children’s voices 😢 What happened in the final seconds between Andrea, Matteo, and Virginia is something the audience says they’ll carry with them forever…

Last night, “Real Love” became more than a song. When Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr stood on stage and welcomed Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison, something shifted in the room. The silence that followed wasn’t shock — it was recognition. A shared understanding that this wasn’t just another performance. No dramatic speeches. No elaborate production. Just four men connected by legacy, letting the music speak. For a few fragile minutes, the past didn’t feel distant. It felt present. Alive. The weight of history hung gently in the air — not heavy, not sad — just profoundly human. The sons carrying forward what their fathers helped create. The melody holding memory together. Some nights are concerts. Others are history breathing in real time. WATCH FULL BELOW 👇
