Stanley Simmons – featuring the sons of Kiss stars Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons – will release their debut single Body Down next month.

Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons grew up together as their fathers took Kiss around the world and inevitably the pair grew close. They have been working on music together since at least December of last year when Paul Stanley posted a clip of the boys covering Simon & Garfunkel’s folk classic The Sound of Silence.

And in February of this year, Evan revealed they were working on 10 tracks.

Now they have confirmed the debut single will be available from December 5 and it can be pre-saved now. A music video is apparently also in the works.

In a post on social media, the duo says: “It’s time. Our debut single Body Down is out December 5.

“A year ago Stanley Simmons wasn’t even the beginning of a thought in either of our heads. Now it’s pretty much all of them. We’re incredibly proud of the record we’re making and very stoked to share it with you all.

“Thank you all for taking the ride with us and thank you Rob, Kim, Joey, Jacob, Ally, Bryce, Pete, Vinnie, Harry, Kyle, Kuya, Shey, Harrison, Mister, Kate, Connor, Elena, Lindsey, and Erich for helping make this song and video come to life.”

As well as his work in Stanley Simmons, Stanley Jr. fronts Amber Wild, who supported Kiss on some of their final dates, while Nick Simmons has sung with Bruce Kulick in the studio and with Wolfmother on stage.

He is also one half of the mysterious electronic duo Sym Fera.

Kelly Clarkson doesn’t just sing Keith Urban’s classic—she blows the roof off the whole stage. From the very first line, she locks eyes with the camera like she’s telling the whole world, “Watch this.” And then she delivers. When the chorus hits, she launches into those high notes with that insane power only she has, turning a chill Sunday-morning song into a full-body goosebumps moment. Kelly can sing anything and make it feel brand new. It’s honestly shocking how much talent she has—like God just handed her a voice designed to stop time. She’s hands down the best singer to ever come out of American Idol, and every song she touches ends up as good as—or straight-up better than—the original. She’s a pure joy to listen to. Thank you, Kelly, for blessing our ears again!.. WATCH BELOW

Today we’re celebrating a true classic — the anniversary of “Travellin’ Light,” the song that marked a turning point for Cliff Richard and The Shadows and helped shape the sound of a brand-new era in British music. Long before stadium tours and decades of hits, this gentle, breezy track showed the world a different side of Cliff — smoother, softer, and backed by the unmistakable magic of The Shadows’ signature guitar work. It was the moment when everything clicked: Hank Marvin’s clean, melodic tone, Bruce Welch’s tight rhythm, Jet Harris’ steady bass, and Cliff’s warm voice blending into something timeless. “Travellin’ Light” didn’t just top charts — it became a milestone, proving that British artists were ready to carve out their own place in music history. For fans who remember the first spin, and new listeners discovering its charm today, the song still feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s simple, iconic, and a reminder of how early British pop found its footing and began to soar. And the surprising story behind how this song was recorded — and why it almost didn’t happen — makes this anniversary even more special
