Yungblud Drops The Most Emotional Grammy Speech Ever: Tears, Ozzy Shoutouts, “God Bless Fucking Ozzy Osbourne” And A Straight-Up Declaration That Rock Is About To Take Over The World

YUNGBLUD

Here’s Yungblud’s Full Speech for 2026 Grammy Win – ‘God Bless F–king Ozzy Osbourne’

It was a very celebratory moment for Yungblud winning the Grammy for Best Rock Performance and he made sure to acknowledge the role that Ozzy Osbourne played in it.

The singer, of course, won for the song “Changes” that he performed live at the Back to the Beginning concert celebrating Osbourne and Black Sabbath last summer. Onstage, he was joined by Frank Bello (Anthrax), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne) and II (Sleep Token).

Yungblud had a close friendship with Osbourne and winning the Grammy after the death of Osbourne last July gave the win an emotional impact for the singer.

What Yungblud Said in His Acceptance Speech About Ozzy Osbourne

“To grow up loving an idol who helps you figure out your identity not only as a musician but also as a man is something that I’m truly grateful for. For then to get to know them and form a relationship with them and honor them at their final show and then receive this, the cost of it is something I and all of us are finding so strange to comprehend. We fucking love you, Ozzy,” Yungblud shared in his speech.

He added, “We would all like to thank Sharon, Jack, Kelly and Aimee for this opportunity, everyone at the Back to the Beginning show. The whole band with me right now are six generations who came together in the name of our genre, in the name of Sabbath and the name of Ozzy Osbourne.”

“I want to thank my team and everyone on all their teams. I deeply love this genre. It’s all I’ve ever known. I want to dedicate this to everyone in the guitar shop I grew up in and everyone in a guitar shop or a bedroom with a dream. Rock music is coming back. Watch out pop music, we’re gonna fuckin’ get ya,” he continued.

The singer then recalled, “The last time I saw Ozzy Osbourne, you asked if there’s anything you could do for me. I answered the music was enough and I can safely say on behalf of all of us that still stands now and will forever. You’ll be with me every time I’m nervous and onstage at every show.”

Finishing the speech, he concluded, “God bless rock music and god bless fucking Ozzy Osbourne.”

Was it a rooftop love letter or a lonely cry into the open sky? That April afternoon in London didn’t feel real. The air hung still, almost holding its breath, while the soft strum of guitars and Lennon’s raw, aching voice floated above the city. Sunlight flashed off chimney tops, stretching long shadows across the roofs, and yet the world below kept moving, unaware of the magic happening overhead. Up there on the Apple Records rooftop, time didn’t just slow—it paused. It felt like the sky itself leaned in to listen as John Lennon poured out “Don’t Let Me Down,” his unfiltered plea of love to Yoko Ono.

20 weeks on the charts — but one night was enough for Ronnie to break every heart open. Ronnie whispered it at first, then let it crack open the whole room: “This song reminds me who I am.” The lights around him were soft and gold, the kind that make every shadow feel honest. And when he stepped into “Neon Moon,” something shifted. His voice wasn’t loud, but it carried years — the kind you don’t talk about, only feel. No big screens. No fireworks. Just a man holding onto a song that once held onto him. And for a moment, everyone in that crowd felt themselves in it too.

Post Malone is opening up about his journey into country music — and the one big adjustment he had to make when switching from hip-hop hits to heartland honesty. “Writing country taught me to slow down and tell the truth — not hide behind production,” Post shared in a recent interview. “It humbled me. You can’t fake a story in country — you gotta live it.” But that’s not all. The genre-bending superstar just announced a brand-new country music video titled “Honky Tonk Heart,” set to premiere next week — and fans are losing it after Post confirmed he’ll be collaborating with the one and only George Strait on the track! Insiders describe the song as “old-school storytelling meets modern soul,” with Post’s raspy vocals blending perfectly with Strait’s timeless tone. Early teasers show the two legends side by side in a Texas roadhouse, guitars in hand, trading lines under neon lights.
