Though young in years, Il Volo’s performance was anything but inexperienced. From the opening note, the three classically trained tenors filled the studio with soaring vocals and seamless harmonies that belied their age.

While each singer brings his own distinct charm and vocal timbre, together their voices blend in a way that feels both natural and remarkably refined – a harmony as elegant as it is powerful.

Their appearance on Good Day New York marked the trio’s early introduction to American audiences, but by then, Il Volo had already begun to make waves overseas.

The group originally rose to prominence on the popular Italian TV talent show Ti Lascio una Canzone, capturing hearts with their operatic pop style and vocal precision.

Since then, they have performed for global luminaries such as Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, and Queen Rania of Jordan – living up to the meaning of their name, which translates to “The Flight.”

He talked about watching a young Texas singer stay true to himself year after year, about learning what authenticity really looks like by paying attention — quietly, patiently — from the sidelines. “I’ve followed him my entire career,” Vince said, his voice steady but weighted. “And I’m still learning.”
