Thanksgiving Is A Day Filled With Family And Good Food

This year, Thanksgiving fell on Thursday, November 27th. Families all over the country came together to celebrate the day that is all about being thankful for everything in our lives.

Country stars were no different. They got together with their families, cooked huge meals, and enjoyed their time together.

Check out our list of how our favorite country stars spent their Thanksgiving!

Tracy Lawrence

While he didn’t share what he did on the actual Thanksgiving holiday, Tracy Lawrence hosted a huge event on Wednesday (Nov. 26) for the 20th year in a row, his Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert.

Gretchen Wilson, Eric Paslay, Chris Cagle, and Halfway to Hazard, along with Lawrence, performed at the benefit concert on Tuesday (Nov. 25) at Category 10.

The Turkey Fry took place the following day at the Nashville Fairgrounds

On Thursday (Nov. 27), Lawrence revealed the event had raised $355,000, had 5,350 turkeys donated, and fed over 50,000 families in need.

This comes after Lawrence announced earlier in the week that 650 turkeys were damaged due to one of their refrigerated trucks breaking down. He called on his Nashville community to help donate 650 turkeys and ended up getting 2,400!

“I’M NOT APOLOGIZING FOR REALITY.” — Billy Bob Thornton Fires Back as Landman Sparks a Full-Blown Hollywood Clash Billy Bob Thornton isn’t smoothing anything over. As Landman draws heat for being “too much,” Thornton plants his feet and defends co-star Ali Larter with a blunt truth: these characters aren’t caricatures — they’re reflections. Pulled straight from the oil fields and back roads of Arkansas and Texas, the people critics dismiss as exaggerated are, to him, painfully familiar. This isn’t PR spin. It’s personal. Thornton argues the backlash says less about the show and more about who gets to decide what “real” looks like on screen. While critics argue from afar, Landman keeps charging ahead — loud, rough-edged, and unwilling to ask permission. No apologies. No softening. Just a hard line drawn — and Thornton daring Hollywood to step over it.

:NO ONE WAS PREPARED FOR HIM TO KNEEL”. Wembley Stadium was packed with 72,000 souls, yet it felt empty without the one voice that mattered most. Freddie Mercury was gone, and the world was still reeling from the shock. As David Bowie stepped onto the stage in his pale green suit, the air in the stadium seemed to thicken. He gripped the microphone, but the legendary partner who should have been by his side was missing. The band launched into the driving notes of “Under Pressure.” Bowie sang his verses, but when it came to Freddie’s part… he did something that silenced the entire sea of people. Instead of trying to fill the void with noise, he turned to Annie Lennox, his eyes burning with a tragic intensity. And then, right at the climax, Bowie suddenly dropped to his knees on the stage and began to recite a prayer. It wasn’t a performance. It was the raw, unscripted grief of one giant mourning another. In that moment, the world realized that Rock & Roll isn’t just about the noise… Behind that historic kneel lies an untold promise between the two men that few have ever heard…

It was late 1967, and the studio lights had begun to dim. Dianne and Peggy Lennon stood by the old RCA microphone, their laughter echoing softly through the empty room. The melody they rehearsed that night wasn’t just another tune — it carried something tender, something only the heart could hear. A technician nearby paused and said quietly, “You sound like you’re singing to someone you really love.” Dianne smiled, that kind of smile that hides more than it shows. “Maybe I am,” she said. Hours later, when everyone had gone home, Dianne stayed behind. The piano still held a folded note — one she’d kept for years. It was written by a young man who once promised to dance with her “when the world finally slows down.” She never sent a reply. Maybe she didn’t need to. Because when she whispered that final line — soft, trembling, and full of memory — it wasn’t meant for the microphone. It was meant for him.
