The clip was posted on the official Instagram page for Fit52, a fitness company and app that Carrie, 42, co-created and owns, earlier this week.

In it, the country music star encourages fans to try a full-body workout called Carrie’s Cardio that is “designed to leave you feeling strong, energized, and empowered,” according to the post’s caption.

Carrie demonstrated the exercises in the clip alongside celebrity trainer Eve Overland.

The mom of two appeared to breeze through the movements, which tracked with her fit figure.

She showed off her muscles in tight gray leggings, a matching form-fitting tank top, and sneakers.

Carrie also wore minimal makeup and her long blonde locks in a ponytail.

BACK TO HER ROOTS

In addition to her busy performing schedule and side hustle as a fitness guru, Carrie is also a judge on her alma mater, American Idol.

Carrie joined the singing competition, which she won in 2005, last season, replacing Katy Perry.Joe Keery and Sabrina Carpenter fuel dating rumors after late-night NYC outing

She sits alongside fellow country artist Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, who’ve both been on the panel for seven years.

Carrie appeared to be the ideal fit for the position, considering her history as a contestant on the show.

She also seems to have some significant influence over some shakeups within the competition, as The U.S. Sun exclusively learned of upcoming changes to the show as a nod to the Jesus Take the Wheel singer.

One considerable switch-up is the location of Hollywood Week, which will be filmed at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, instead of its previous venues around Los Angeles and Santa Monica, California, an insider revealed.

It will also be called “Hollywood Week in Music City,” an ode to Carrie and Luke, who have strong ties to the town and its country music scene.

Last year, production again changed the venue for Hollywood Week to the Orpheum Theatre in downtown LA, for Carrie, since that’s where she filmed her Hollywood Week as a contestant on the show.

The insider shared that the theater was “sentimental” to Carrie, which led to an “emotional” moment during the season.

American Idol is heading into its 24th season, which kicks off in the winter of 2026.

AN EMOTIONAL HOMECOMING

In May, Carrie broke down in tears during an interview while reflecting on her experience on the Idol stage.

“I think my journey on American Idol all the time, because it’s so grand, it’s so unbelievable,” the Grammy Award winner shared.

“If I hadn’t made that one decision in my life, my life would be completely different,” she continued.

“So, it’s just a blessed journey I’ve been on.”

A SONG FROM 1975, STILL HURTING IN 1998. There are nights when a song stops being a performance and becomes a confession. At Royal Albert Hall in 1998, Rod Stewart sang I Don’t Want to Talk About It like he wasn’t trying to impress anyone. He barely moved. He let the orchestra breathe. That raspy voice didn’t push the pain—it carried it. Written in another time, recorded back in 1975, the song felt present. You could see it in the stillness. In the way he held the last line. No drama. Just truth, standing under warm lights. Some stories don’t fade. They wait.

The lights of Rockshow flared and suddenly Paul McCartney and Wings launched into “Silly Love Songs,” and what should have been a simple pop tune erupted into an anthem of joy that shook the arena like an earthquake of happiness; McCartney’s bass throbbed like a heartbeat, his voice teasing the audience as if daring them not to sing along, and soon thousands were swaying, shouting the chorus until it felt like the walls themselves were smiling; critics once sneered that the world had no use for silly love songs, but in that moment it was impossible to deny — people needed them more than ever; couples kissed through tears, strangers held hands, and fans swore they felt the weight of cynicism fall away; social media later lit up with clips calling it “the night McCartney turned doubt into celebration,” and as the final refrain rang out, one truth shimmered brighter than the spotlights — love songs might be silly, but they can still save the world.
