Making kiddo’s dreams come true.

Whenever I see a young kid on stage as I scroll through social media, I stop in my tracks and watch. Whether they are timid or made for the stage, witnessing an artist spotlight their younger fans always brings a smile to my face. Seeing them pour into the younger generation of country fans gives them a lasting memory and shows how they care about creating a lasting fan.

Riley Green had quite the crowd in Athens, Georgia, last night. The crowd in the Akins Ford Arena was rocking and rolling for the Damn Country Music tour stop.

But those enthusiastic fans were just the start of what the Athens crowd would experience during the concert. During one portion of Riley Green’s set, he brought a special friend named Logan to the stage to help him sing “I Wish Grandpas Never Died.”

Green sat on the ground with his acoustic guitar beside the young boy, prompting him to introduce himself to the arena. After Logan introduced himself, Green took over on the mic to tell the audience about Logan’s special request.

“What Logan told me earlier was that he wants y’all to turn the lights off in the room, if you’ve got a button back there. Yeah. And then y’all get your little flashlight phone things out, and y’all are going to sing.

Okay, Logan’s going to start. You hold the microphone, you ready?”

Green asks the little cowboy before passing the microphone back to Logan.

After Green sang a line to Logan, prompting him to start with the chorus of “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” Logan fearlessly took over, leading the large arena in a sing-along. The arena did not disappoint either, and sang every word with Logan, creating a magical moment.

The moment honestly gives you cheers hearing the arena crowd roar after the moment, with all of the phone flashlights held up, per Logan’s request.

Who knows, Logan might be the next big star. Stage fright is scared of him… there was not a nerve in that boy’s body.

Fans adored this moment and praised Green for creating this core memory. Before you go, check out some of the comments left on his post.

“He just made the most amazing core memory for that little boy.”

“You made this little guy’s night! He definitely stole the show last night! Precious.”

“This made my heart happy.”

“He will remember this forever, amazing job, Riley!
